[Ansteorra-archery] Greetings....I need some help from someone in the Military

I am sorry for the feelings that are being irritated and possibly hurt
by the question that was asked. I believe that there is a
misunderstanding of the question and the intent of what was being asked
and for that I apologize:-(

The intent was not meant as using the Special Forces flash, their
distinctive green beret, any type of military rank, or using any type of
background with the arrows that is used by the Special Forces. The
e-mail was only talking about using two crossed arrows which is a
generic emblem.

As a combat veteran myself, the son of a life time member of the
Disabled American Veterans, and father of a prior military member, I can
say that none of us have any problems with it.

Lance has already said that he will look for another avenue. As a group
of avid archers, crossed arrows have always been, and always will be, a
part of our history and is one of the many emblems used by archers to
denote our area of expertise and passion.

I believe in the military and am proud of all those who have served and
are currently serving in the military and am proud to be able to include
my father, uncles, brothers, cousins, son, and my own service and I
would never want to do anything that would be against their spirit or
honor. I wish all of them safe tours and a happy return home to their
family.

YIS,
Vincenti da Murano
