greetings

for a stained hickory flatbow , its a little on the high side.
you can buy a preshaped blank ( no arrow rest or cut out for $75.00. ) http://www.missouritrading.com/bowlist.htm for example.

and I'm told hickory is easier to work than Osage , especially if all you have to do is the tillering, and clean up.

I didn't see the poundage , what was it set at ?

thanx

$108 really isn't a bad price for a hand made longbow. I've seen them go for a good deal more than that. Only problem is its not a period longbow. The shelf that is cut into it disqualifies it from being used to score any period shoots. And unless you're taking it out to hunt with the poundage is pretty high for
Target shooting. Just so's ya know.

It looks like a nice bow but a little overpriced. They do not mention a warranty. You can get a very nice longbow from a bow maker right in Leander Texas.
