[Ansteorra-chirurgeon] www.chirurgeon.net web site changes

This will not affect most of you, but there has been a major change in the
structure of the www.chirurgeon.net web site. When you created a new
incident, the patient personal data would be stored in the database, but
would not be displayed except to the treating Chirurgeon, the CIC, and
admins in your kingdom. Even then, they had to push a special button which
would give them access to the data, but would also log their access into an
audit trail.

The new structure for incidents goes a step farther. You still enter patient
private data, but all that data is smashed together and the result is
encrypted with an extremely high security process that uses two keys: one to
encrypt and one to decrypt. The encryption key is required on the server,
but the decryption key is not even present on the server. It only lives in a
special software program on the private computers of the Chirurgeon General
and a few others that need it to research legal issues.

So, be sure to get the information from the patient and enter it carefully.
Only the Chirurgeon General can correct it and she is a bit busy to be
correcting your data!

Thanks,
