[Ansteorra-marshals] Salutations

Heilsa,

When I did Marshal, I was using a 9-foot rattan spear with a red piece 
of cloth hanging from just below the 3 inch spear head. The red cloth 
also doubled while transporting in my truck which the traffic laws 
require the placing of a warning flag on any item that extended further 
than 3 feet from back of a vehicle.

The red cloth could be found in any auto store - at the time they came a 
dozen to a bundle, just look for shop towels and/or rags.

That one had been on that spear for approximately 7 years. All I had to 
do was replace the duct tape every year or so. Of course it depend upon 
weather, mileage, etc...

The last time I saw it was last summer, where I past it on to Ld Hosey.
