[Ansteorra-marshals] Armored Marshal Test

About the plastic rigidity question - the manual doesn’t specify a specific thickness ("High-impact-resistant plastics such as ABS or polyethylene of sufficient thickness to give similar rigidity to those listed above”). And that makes sense because not all thermoplastics used for armor are the same. EGG armor, for instance, uses Kydex, a brand name for an alloy of acrylic and PVC. but most people incorrectly use the terms “ABS” and “Kydex” interchangeably. So I think we need some clarification on how we go about defining whether plastic armor is legal or not based solely on its thickness. Because not all plastic armor is “ABS.”

On the shield question, it doesn't matter if it's strapped or center
gripped, only that the hand is 4" from the edge.

The padding of camail or aventail was outside of the scope of what I was
asking about. Perhaps an additional question?

Regarding ABS rigidity, some quick research into material specifications on
ABS and steel show that in general ABS is 1/7" as strong (yield) as cold
rolled steel. As such, I don't think that a material 2.5x as thick as the
minimum steel would be considered rigid as well.

I'm not sure when suprasternal notch was removed.
