[Ansteorra-missile] Armor Rule Change

Ok, I know this is dragging up an old email but I have
a question about it.

Ok, at Bordermarch's Autumn Melees last weekend the
Seawinds Archers were wearing Half-Gauntlets on their
bow hands(they were using Longbows in combat). When I
asked them about it, they told me that they were told
it was allowed by our Kingdom Archery Marshall, Lord
Eadric Anstapa.

As a point of information, more than once we told that
we were fighting under Ansteorran Rules and NOT Gulf
War Conventions. 

So now I'm confused and would like to know what is
going on with our armor rules.
