As best as I can tell, no one has to be worried or get up in arms over this.  
Eadric asked a simple and valid question and the issue had been well discussed 
on the red tape list.  Many of the things brought up here were also brought up 
in the discussion on that list.

To sum up, the main issues are that Lancer and Huntsman aren't as well-
established and the level of participation isn't currently at the level to 
really support stand-alone championship tournaments.  Combining was discussed 
and the "Three Ring Circus" was mentioned.

So... this was a test...had it been an actual emergency, you would have been 
instructed when to tune in your area....
