Whoa.  I have a real problem with Knight's Tale.
How can any woman/consort wish her fighter to not defend himself and to be
injured?  'If you love me, you'll lose.'  In other words, you will set aside
everything that you have worked for, suffered for, even bled for, and put
yourself in mortal danger, simply for her folly.  Bull.
