I would like to suggest that if you are concerned about this change, the
most productive course of action is to write letters stating your
concerns with reasoned arguments to the Society Rapier Marshal, Master
Dylan, the Society Earl Marshal, Sir Robert Glendon of Auk and the Board
of Directors. The Board may be the most important but the Marshals
overseeing the activity should be kept aware of commentary as well.

The Board really is interested in hearing commentary from members on
issues that affect the game.

A few years ago there was a move to prohibit youth from participating in
equestrian activities. The Equestrian community got together and wrote
letters to the BoD with information about how youth participate in
equestrian activities in other organizations and the BoD changed its
mind about the prohibition. It is possible to affect change by writing
to the BoD.

For maximum effect, send hard copy, use polite language and well
reasoned arguments.
