I keep a reasonably current price comparison list for legal bare
rapier blades at http://kelly.dwarfworks.com/sca/Blades/rapiers.php

Of course the least expensive are the Hanwei blades which you
occassionally find on ebay for $50-55 which may or may not compare to
the average $60 prices for them through the listed merchants once you
factor in shipping.  They're certainly not the best blades you can buy
*chuckle* and have a higher failure rate then Darkwood blades but it
is hard to beat the price.
