[Ansteorra-rapier] Blade recommendation

We live in the Steppes-Elfsea area.

I have really appreciated the responses I have received so far and look forward 
to any others I might get.

May I ask which group you are in (shire, barony, etc ) or what city you are in 
or near? We may be able to recommend people local to you who can show you the 
actual weapons and talk about the advantages of each.
I will say that IMO the best bargain in an entry level blade is a Hanwei rapier. 
I think they can be found costing between $100 &  $150. There are plenty of 
suppliers out there so it should not be hard to find them.
