[Ansteorra-rapier] Blade recommendation

Not to parrot what Dore said, but yeah, what he said. I wouldn't buy
anything until you and he handle other blades at a local practice and talk
to the people at your practice.  

 

Far and away, the best blades and guards are from Darkwood, but you pay for
that quality.  If you really want to go with ZWA, then the Rapier blades
would be better historically than the schlager blades.
