[Bards] New Question

Sorry to be chiming in on this thread so late, but I've been away from my
computer for nearly two weeks, and am struggling to catch up.
I perform in the SCA first because it's fun; if I didn't enjoy it, I
wouldn't do it. Secondly, because people make an active effort to
participate as an audience. Thirdly, the broad range of material that is
acceptable in an SCA bardic effort, from "filk" type material, appropriate
modern material, SCAdian culture based material, to nosebleed authentic
material is very appealing. Lastly, because I can't sing (yet), or play an
instrument (yet), but I _can_ tell a story or two, and in the SCA, that
means I can play, too!
