Announcement out of Aethelmearc ... with a personal note that western
Aethelmearc is a target-rich area all by itself, for bards AND cooks.

(Although Master Alastair -- rightfully -- will never let me attempt to
cut up butternut squash in his kitchen again w/o using full-coverage
waterproof gloves...)

Adieu, Amra / ttfn - Mike / Pax ... Kihe

Subject: [aebards] Known World Cooks & Bards pre-announcement

Greetings, all, from Michael Alewright! This is a Highly-Unofficial But
Beneficial Announcement (HUBBA) coming from me personally, pending
preparation of the More Officially Official Complete Oracular Word
(MOOCOW) coming from the event staff, but the news shall not be
contained:

Mark your calendars for Friday November 7 through Monday November 10,
2008, because Known World Cooks and Bards will be happening in
AEthelmearc! The event will be at the Crestfield Camp and Conference
Center located in Slippery Rock, PA, about fifteen minutes away from
Cooper's Lake.

Heated cabins. Heated class space. Heated everything. People who want to
feed you tasties.

In the near future, I and/or Brion will be attempting to press-gang
various folks into teaching classes, organizing workshops, etc.
Meanwhile, anyone with ideas or suggestions about classes, workshops,
roundtables, panel discussions, activities etc. they would like to
teach, organize or attend is welcome and invited to speak up. Teachers,
don't feel that you need to limit yourself to the traditional hour.

Spread the rumor, and let the fun happen!

- Michael
