One year (last year?) I nearly gave Star an aneurysm by darting into
the hall to get people to snuff their lights *just* before we were to
start, so all the other dancers were lined up and wanting to go in
RIGHT NOW and where the HELL did Daniel go he was just here a moment
ago!!1one!

So, yeah, I'm rather inclined to work on a better solution this year.
