Sorry it took me so long to climb on board. This is indeed a do-able goal
and I'll be glad to pitch in my 5.00 a week. Maybe a bit more.
I'd be willing to go one more step though.
If setting aside 5.00 or 10.00 a week is too much, would everybody be
interesting in commiting to donating pocket change?
This is what I mean. On my way to work in the mornings I stop to buy a cup
of coffee at .54 , my change is .46 out of a dollar.
I'll go but a fountain drink and a light lunch around 1 or 2.
it comes to 4.48... my change is .52
On my way out that evening I stop for a candy bar or something to pick me up
after a long day and that's .69 making my change .31 and then I'll go out
and buy a pack of cigarettes that evening at 3.20 making my pocket change
.80
Now if I throw all of that into a bucket I've collected 2.09 for the day and
if I do that every day all week ( not including weekends ) and my numbers
are the same then my pocket change equates to 10.45 that week and I haven't
even noticed that I've been setting money aside.
This is indeed a worthy cause, and as you've said so well Don Ericus, if we
pull together it won't be that difficult. I'd even be willing to roll all of
that change that gets donated so in addition to getting my donation and
commitment, I offer my services to assist this endeavor to make it a
reality. This is a dream that is indeed coming true and each of us can make
this happen.
By the way, This is a scheduled work weekend for the castle project. Who's
planning on going aside from me? I'll see everyone at populace tomorrow (
Thursday ) Have a great and blessed day, Elrique
