Greetings!

I just wanted to say thank you to those folks who came by and signed in to the volunteer area at Ravensmarch this weekend. Below is a list of all those who turned in their volunteer cards at the end of the day. You made my day at Ravensmarch and I so enjoyed seeing how much fun you had playing this way. Without you and your service, events like this could never happen.

In no special order, here are the names of the people whose cards I had: My apologies for any misspelled names and lack of appropriate titles. If it wasn't on the card, I probably didn't do it right.

Annes (yes, me too-although I didn't give myself raffle tickets. I brought the stuff to the raffle and didn't want it back!)

I know there were many, many more folks who did not come by and get a card and there were some who never got the chance to come back to give me their cards. My apologies to you but perhaps someone who is a coordinator of that area can include your name in their thanks.

I also want to thank all the generous folk who gave items for the prize raffle. I hope I've remembered everyone. My list looks too short for all the wonderful stuff that was out there. If I've forgotten you, please accept my most abject apologies.

HE, Baroness Ellisena de Bayonne
M'Lady Rachael
HE, Baroness Katri
HL Caitlin nan Cnoc Airgead
Lady Ciarnat
A big green box of very nice things given by someone who couldn't come to the event and their name is totally escaping me! Argh! But thank you to the lady who gave those lovely and well received gifts!
Somebody named Annes

It was a lot of fun and I hope that other events will consider doing the same. Until then, I remain...
In Service,
Annes

You are not an archeologist trying to construct a society that has been lost. You are a historian who is preserving what is now for the future to learn about us.The only SCA historians who will be SCA archeologists will be our heirs if we, as historians today, fail to do our jobs properly.
