We had wind damage to our roof, which has left us with many shingles gone. The rainwater came in the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom, then down into the dining room, living room and kitchen. Need less to say we have a mess to clean up, with pulling up carpets, replacing ceilings and kitchen cabinets to tear down. The porches both front and back received damage and need repair. Several trees are down around the house, but none hit the house. ________________________________________________________________________________

Damage to your home or property: Fixable, in time. Zane is well at A & M preparing for his master's degree thesis defense Oct 13. We are chainsawing tree limbs daily, hauling to curb. 100 year old oaks felled many limbs onto house leaving the roof spongy; and punctured the garage-armory workshop. Simonn's office/Zane's childhood room on the corner by the workshop had computer damage with lost wet carpet, pulled out. Cedar fence is down and pump-shed is askew. We shocked the pool to keep down mosquitoes. Wall blew off the two story building; some things stored in the carport were damaged. Motorhome in which we evacuated has a wet loft bed and saggy kitchen walls. Several friends are laboring together and feeding each other; populace who are able could join, house to house, as teamwork and restore together. ______________________________________________________________________________

Damage to your home or property: None; we were so very blessed. Darren's mother did have 5 huge oaks blow down around her home, & Darren will begin clean up when we get home. Don Ericus lost his entire back porch, along with many trees in the yard. He will need help (& most likely not ask for it himself.)

Damage to your home or property: Numerous trees down, light damage to carport, some roof damage. The ceiling in our computer room partially came down but the outside seems to be ok...apparently something struck it and blew off. Greatly blessed in that we didn't suffer more damage. Kurt is spending the weeks in Lufkin to work until further notice. Is there anyone nearby that has an extension ladder that they might loan out for a day? I have to find a way to tarp the roof in those two spots. Hoping I can do it before it rains...

Some very large trees down, roof repairs to be done, the pool was badly damaged and needs to come down, the skirting was just demolished and has to be replaced, driveway is filled with trees and needs to be cleared, kitchen floor has to be pulled up and replaced. So many other little things it is hard to list them all.
