wow! that's too confusing for us old folks... why can't Don Tivar be called simply THE Guardian of the Gauntlet (no numerical designation), with the rest of us taking our places after that? it works for the White Scarves; he is simply the "Great God Tivar," while the rest of us are content to be "Don not-Him." ;{>

Spell check I.D. on Lord Dirk the Just:
13th winner of Guardian of the Gauntlet.
Today I learned from to his Don, Don Robin of Gilwell,
Dirk's name has recently passed as
Dyryke Stanley.
Don Robin reminds us that Lord Dyryke is winner of the 13th Guardian of the Gauntlet TOURNAMENT.
Don Tivar Moondragon is historically styled as the "1st" GUARDIAN of the Gauntlet.
Don Simonn won the 1st Guardian of the Gauntlet Tournament,
but is styled as the 2nd Guardian of the Gauntlet, and so on.
Lord Dyryke is therefore the 14th Guardian of the Gauntlet.
