[Bordermarch] Crown Thanks

... Just Returned from Defender of the Rose. The Crown profusely thanked the Barony of Bordermarch, Their Excellencies, and the working crew for making Special Fall Crown Tournament possible for Nov 18, Sunday, by adding it on to the Autumn Melees.

Throughout the day, nearly every individual with whom I had a conversation Saturday at Defender of the Rose eventually turned to chat of Crown Tourney next weekend. Ansteorrans mentioned that it is good that Bordermarch is able host Crown with brief notice; extra arrangements by the supporting populace of Bordermarch are very much appreciated; that the extra scheduling and extended hours on site are vastly appreciated -not taken for granted- ...also, I lost count of the number of individuals who said they will be present for this historic event.  I had many opportunities to express the joy this entire work crew has, to be able to respond immediately to the Crown and to the Kingdom when the need was made known.  

When you think about it, within one week, from "last" Friday, everything necessary has happened with extra planning meetings and with schedule changes to make Crown Toruney possible on Sunday.  Way to Go, Bordermarchers!  That is the stuff of which this family/barony is made, the means by which the Dream is shared!  Some are making extra sacrifice of time and agenda to bring about what it takes to make this forthcoming Sunday's Crown Tny a glowing success. Your words and actions are proof as to who you really are! 

Before my departure from Roses 5 hours ago, Her Majesty Ebergardis was personally giving her sincere thanks to me, and thus I pass it to you !

The week ahead at the castle is a busy one as more grounds labor is finished and more details are tended to, and some extra touches are added.  Thanks for remembering the local by-line:  "Many hands make lighter work!"   :)
