We here in Silsbee got nothing but a bit of rain and a leetle wind. Thankfully. I am so glad that Scott and Dena and Simonn and Tessa are well.
I spoke to Lady Valencia this afternoon, finally getting through on her cell phone. She and Charles are well. They just got power back this afternoon, I think, and had a few limbs down in the yard, but no trees. No flooding. So they are doing all right and trying to get back to normal. She said that it has been really HOT.
Has anyone heard from Armand and Caitrin?? Or anyone else?
Take care, all. Glad to hear from those who "checked in."

Footprints . . . The Sequel

Then I said, "But Lord, what are these
two lines in the sand next to Your
footprints?" And He answered,
"My child, those were the times I had to
drag you kicking and screaming until
you decided to get a clue and snap out of it."

You Rock, Woman!

So glad all is well.
Exhale. Whew.
All news from all fronts is rather mild at this time.
That the Lord.

Things went well enough around 7510 Plant Rd.
Only some of the larger pot plants knocked to the ground, and a pile of
branches, and lots of water in the yard.
Had to wait for the water to go down before using any plumbing in the house.
We lost the use of the TV and the computer due to Humberto, but both are
back on this evening.

My work place had called employees to report to work (as Lumberton was not
badly hit), and also the district had an Open House on the schedule for
Thursday evening which did not cancel. So, when I got home from that late
event, I drove out to fighter practice by 7:50 to find the park totally void
of sca-dians at that time.

Preps for Raven's Fort?
