Sue McKaskle Parrish, 66, of Vidor died May 15, 2008 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont due to a lengthy illness of kidney disease.  She was born in Conway , Arkansas May 23, 1941.  Sue was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a homemaker, Girl Scout leader, a volunteer for many years and a charter member of Harmony Baptist Church .
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mamie McKaskle and Floyd Simpson; sister, Ida Nell Wilson; nephew, Jamie Wilson; and grandchild, Logan Miller.  She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Ronald Dee Parrish of Vidor; son, Richard Parrish and his wife Debra of Beaumont; daughter, Stephanie McWilliams and her husband Jeff of Vidor; brother, Billy Earl Lavender of Nederland; sisters, Esther Wilson of Vidor, Matida Broussard of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Elizabeth Marcontell of Kountze , Acynthia Gilliam of Lubbock, and Karen Mitchell of Vidor; grandchildren, Krysten Parrish, Katarina Parrish, Natalie Granger, Jordan McWilliams, Justin McWilliams, Brittney Wilson,  MaKayla Miller, Jami Reed, Courtney Murphy, Charlene Arbeleda, Maegan Yust; great grandchildren, Kennedee, Skylar, Kaitlyn, Rahvin, Alaister, Hazel, Hailey, Owen, Steven, and Jillian; numerous nieces, nephews and several other family members.
 
A warm thanks goes out to Frefenius Medical Center and all the doctors and caregivers throughout the years.
 
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial at Restlawn Memorial Park , Vidor.  A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
