[Bordermarch] Needing Feedback

I am in complete agreement with everyone who has said that a fee is OK, but I dislike the idea of the event becoming "official."  Is there nothing in between?  I understand that Your husband has extraordinary mental powers which are somewhat different from the rest of us (I believe 'skewed' was the word I heard used).  If linear thinking does not provide an answer, let him take a stab at it! ;{>

Your Excellency Elisabeth,
Thank you for the offer of your Excellent home!  :)
Thinking on it...  there may likely be more than 75 people at a traditional January gathering for fellowship and food.

With the nice kitchen and feast hall and yard at St. Andrews in comparrison to other places the group has been sought in recent years, I do not object to the price of $5 or $6 per person to meet the cost of the building at St. Andrews.

Twelfth Night has for the last couple of years been at St Andrews Church in BMT. This year the church has changed the way they do things and will charge a fee of $450 for the approximate 12 hours we're there. This means if we utilize their hall and kitchen we will need to charge a fee of $5 per person and make it an official event. Santiago and I have not confirmed the date and building yet as we would like to hear from you, our populace. How do you feel about a fee for Twelfth Night or do you want us to look elsewhere. Their are not a lot of options out there that do not charge so if you know of a place please tell us so we can check into it further. Our home is again always open. We have room to play as we have done in the past and can hold approx. 75 people.

Waiting to hear from you....tentative date for Twelfth Night would be Jan 3, 2009.

Thank so much,
HE Elisabeth
