[Bordermarch] Mortimore update

I talked with Maisie yesterday and offered my home as a place for Daffyd to stay while in town. I have friends who work in that hospital's Shock Trauma ICU and have asked them to look in on Dena and to let her know we are praying for her.
For those of you who sheltered in place from the storm, please let us know what is going on in your area as you can. I expect that the Beaumont area has not seen much rough weather yet. The storm made landfall a little to the east of where we thought it might.
Take care!

Subject: [Bordermarch] Mortimore update

David is on his way to Austin as of 4:45 PM Sunday.  Dena's parent's are back in Silsbee, and Ok (minor injuries), or soon will be.  Dena had some serious internal injuries: bruised liver, damage to intestine which required a resection (removal of a portion), and damage to her spleen which required its removal. She was conscious when David left, and responded to him as well as she was able with a tube down her throat...

This is all I know... Jalinda might be able to explain it better, but please don't call David just yet: he really is not up to it.  Jalinda (Maisie)'s phone # is 409-790-0008.
