A of A, Lord Chrestien Brule!
I am so proud of you...very derserving you are...
Sorry this missive is a bit late in coming...I have been sidetrack...now my little choo-choo is desperately trying to find the rails once again!
I was wondering if the missive below is what you would like me to put in the BAM section of our, a little late, December Trumpeter? This would be fine, unless you would like to re-word/enhance a bit more, yet still using this as the bones of your report? It is just a suggestion...I would need any thing else you wish to contribute in the next few days...
Thank you, oh Gallant Lord Chrestien, for all your contributions!

Ok folks., BAM was wet and nasty but I shall tell of my experience of
the time I was there.
I got there in time to unload my vehicle, get dressed and report to gate
for my shift. I was informed that I would NOT be the one taking the
cash..I was almost hurt, BUT then I realized that I would not be
responsible for it if I had nothing to do with it. SO Sewallis Seward de
Shirley , my First Mate, was assigned that position. I was left to visit
with those coming in and visit with the lovely Karen. Although she
stills owes me a name to a story she shared with me. I was present when
His Majesty arrived and was able to speak with him and welcome him to
the Barony of Bordermarch.
After my gate shift, I shared spirits with many people around a nice
fire. My lady and I retired to fight for comfort with only one sleeping
bag. Although I was able to hold my lady tight, room to move was
extremely limited. We awoke to a very cold and wet morning and a tent
with a few leaks. Someone kicked one of our tents stakes loose during
the night and water entered and soaked a pillow and a cloak..
I made a few rounds in the rain and was honored when the Baron himself
asked me to notify the Barony's guest that court would begin at 10am. I
then walked the site telling all the news. I picked up a couple of
helpers along the way that assisted me during my trek.
After court, the rain stopped and the fighting began. Due to an injury I
was unable to fight but was pleased to be allowed to marshal the rapier
fighters castle battles. After to battles the rain returned.
I returned to my camp to find all 3 of my demons....children soaked to
the bone and all miserable. I knew that I needed to take my leave and
get them to warmer and drier conditions. I said my goodbyes and was then
told I would not be able to leave just yet. I began packing up and was
told I needed report to the Royal Pavilion by the battle field. When I
arrived, Her Majesties court was called to session and I was ordered to
appear before the court. I think I did was was expected since the
Queen's Champion didn't kill me. I was given an AoA. My eyes almost
began to leak or was that the rain? We shall never know.
After court we loaded up and headed home. I didn't realize how wet I
truly was. My boots were holding water and I still have water coming out
of my ears.
I had a wonderful time. I hope that all those that attened enjoyed it as
well.
In Service to the Dream,
Lord Chrestien Brule
Captain of "The Phoenix"
