[Bordermarch] Response concerning Auto-crating

Unto the Barony of Bordermarch does Herr Dietrich Strobelbart send greetings!
Pardon the intrusion, but I was wondering why anyone would, or how anyone could,
automatically put an event into a crate? Is this some new method for improving
the efficiency of putting on an event? Is there some new form of event kit that
can be shipped elsewhere for the ease of someone else's use? If so, I would
like more information on this new kit. How much does it cost? What does it
include? How far in advance must one order this wondrous new auto-crated
event? And who was the inventor of the machine that accomplishes this
incredible feat? Is it patented? Is it profitable? Where can I buy one?
Totally confused,
Dietrich Strobelbart
(who has his tongue firmly planted in his cheek! ;-)
PS: Sorry! I just couldn't resist! My hands were drawn to the keyboard by an
irresistible force! I am quite proud of the fact that I was raised by a man who
takes every opportunity to poke fun at the English language. Since autocratic
and autocratically are both in my dictionary with only a single "t" near the
end, I suspect "autocrating" is probably a correct spelling, though my spell
checker doesn't like it. But, then, it doesn't like "autocratting" either!
Curiously, it doesn't have a problem with auto-crating. Bother! ;-)
PPS: I thoroughly enjoyed coordinating the Haflas at BAM this year! My thanks
to Their Excellencies and Lord Phocas for allowing me the opportunity!

We answered him off line by Iphone but thanks for clarifying so if others want
to write a letter of intent to steward Baronial they can.
Please remember Bordermarchers that by writing a letter of intent to steward an
event this means you are committed to complete the event. You should also name a
co steward so if "life" happens and it can, you have back up.
As B&B it is highly frowned upon by Kingdom that we steward any of our own
events. BAM is a handful and takes a lot of training...thus we keep auto-crating
with lots of fine help, but this too needs to change.
We certainly appreciate any and all who wish to volunteer time for our events
and will help in any way we can. But if no letters submitted, no event will be
held.
At this time 12th Night is being Auto-crated by Lady Angel and a crew of
Pirates. Many, many thanks for their help. Please contact one of them if you
wish to offer your time or talents.
Vivat volunteers!!
Santiago and Elisabeth

I didn't see anyone answer you... so I thought I'd look it up for you on the
Ansteorra Calendar being that I was so sure it was a PED (Perpetual Event
Date)...
I don't see it, so I guess it's not a PED.
So I guess it would be up to the Event Steward with approval from Their
Excellencies to decide. Any volunteers to Steward Bordermarch Baronials?
No sense picking a date if we don't have someone willing to Steward the
Event.
Phocas

What is the date for Baronials in the new year? I know it's in April, but
has a day been scheduled?
