Just in case any missed the story about little Emily Simmons and Kylie, I've attached an earlier post from Stephanie Simmons that describes the
incident that took place on Saturday the 21st. It's still worthy of everyone's attention, especially when it concerns our little ones safety:

On Saturday, Emily Simmons (daughter of Troy and Stephanie Simmons) while at a birthday party, she saw a 3 year old floating face down in the middle of the pool (above ground, 5ft deep). She climbed in, swam out to her, and pulled her back to the ladder and got her out of the pool. Two adults did CPR until the ambulance/fire/police arrived (about 4 minutes). The toddler was taken to St. E's and then airlifted to Hermann in Houston where she spent the night in Pedi ICU. She was moved to a regular room on Sunday evening and came home Monday evening. So thankful that everything turned out ok!!!

KFDM (Channel 6) did an interview with Emily, Rachel and Kylie (mom and toddler) and me yesterday and it will air at 6:00 this evening.

Jane McBride's column in the Beaumont Enterprise next Sunday will feature Emily's story.

Emily will be receiving a "Bravery" award at the 1st and 2nd grade awards ceremony tomorrow at Sallie Curtis.

VIVAT to Emily!!
