         The Shire of Ffynnon Gath   presents Laurel's Prize Tourney 
       
Saturday,
August 25, 2012 c.e., Studio Estates Club House, 6880 Goforth Road in 
Kyle, Texas. The site opens at 9 am and closes at 8 pm. Set up by 
artisans will begin at 8 am.

Artisans come set up your >body 
of work= past and present for the opportunity to informally discuss your
art with the Laurels of the Kingdom, artisans and the general Populace.
Everyone is invited to come, view and discuss the various arts and 
sciences with the artisans and the Laurels.

Artisans please 
pre-register for table space with Mistress Melisende de Barcelona, 
Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences, moas at ansteorra.org by the 23rd of
August. Include the following information: Title - name of the entry. 
Artisan=s SCA name and modern name.  Amount of table space needed. Do 
you need electricity?

In the afternoon Lady Ilarria 
Shchastnogovichna will present a sideboard luncheon which is included in
the site fee. Please bring your feast gear and drinks.  Please bring 
small tables and chairs for dining.

A Youth Boffer Practice will be held by Ffynnon Gath Youth Marshal Vilhjalmr Einarsson.
He has some loaner gear available. Youth of Ansteorra: come practice 
your boffer fighting skills to prepare for the Youth Boffer Tourney 
coming up at War of Ages. 

This is a one day event. There is no 
camping. For lodging please see the event website for a list of 
hotels/motels or check with the autocrat. 

Site fees: $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for 12 yrs. and under, under 5 yrs. free. 
Make checks payable to: SCA, Inc/Shire of Ffynnon Gath.
 
Directions: Going
toward Austin on IH 35 North - take Exit 217. At the Conoco/Tex.Best 
Truck Stop turn Right (east) on Windy Hill Road. Go several miles. Turn 
Right on Mathias. Turn Left on Goforth Road. The hall is on the right 
hand side of the road.
                     Going toward San 
Antonio/San Marcos Take IH 35 South - Take Exit 217. Turn Left across 
the bridge  and continue straight ahead on Windy Hill Road. Turn Right 
on Mathias. Turn Left on Goforth Road. The hall is on the right side of 
the road.
Site is wet - period containers only. No pets - service 
animals only. Minors must be accompanied by parents or legal guardian. 
Minors may attend with a 21 year old adult with a Minor Event Waiver 
Form signed and notarized by  parents.
