Subject: Loch Solleir & Stargate Fighter Practices
>We are going to try moving fighter practice for the Loch and Stargate to
>Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm. The first practice will be at Sir Alexis'
>house next week, the 4th of May. We are trying to locate a better
>permanent location that is convenient to both the Loch and Stargate,
>perhaps on the UH main campus. This has been agreed upon for the
>chivalric fighters. I have yet to confirm this with Stargate's rapier
>community. If anyone is violently opposed to this, let me know and we'll
>discuss it (of course, we can always fight it out, too ;) ).
>
>There will also be another interested parties / fighter get-together /
>BBQ at Alexis' on Friday night, May 7th at 6:30 pm until whenever. We
>will be discussing the possible formation of a Loch / Stargate / Coastal
>Regional fighting unit. All current, former, or would-be fighters,
>chivalric & rapier, archers, siege engineers, and support crew (that
>means everyone) are invited. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.
>Contact Alexis at 281-482-3294 or drwise at swbell.net if you want to bring
>anything.
>
>Directions to Sir Alexis' (Dave Wise's) house: I-45 South past the South
>Beltway 8. Take FM 2351 / Clear Lake City Blvd (that's the street
>Frankie Carter Randolph is on) West through Friendswood. Continue
>straight on 2351 through the light at Sunset. Go two more blocks and
>take a right on Rustic. Go to the end of this road, past the elementary
>school, where the road will curve to the left. You will reach a stop
>sign. Go straight through the stop sign. Dave's house is about 1/3 mile
>on the right. We'll set up something on the road to make it obvious.
