                   COASTAL REGIONAL EVENT

                GUARDIAN of the GAUNTLET, Revived,
                        April 5-6-7, 2002,
            at Ansteorra's BorderKeep Castle on Jones Country
  Campgrounds, hosted in cooperation by the baronies,
shires, cantons, and college of the Coastal Region of
Ansteorra, each having various responsibilities
              to make this event pleasing and successful.

~ "Guardian of the Gauntlet" armor inspection begins at 9 a.m.
         for the double elimination rapier tournament
~ "Youth" Rapier List
~ "Remembrance List"  (If you "Remember the most recent GG event...")
will be run for fun.
~ Extraordinary Feast
~ Saturday Evening Ball; plans are sought for a ball within the    castle
grounds.

Jones Country Campgrounds is located 5 miles off Highway 69, north of
Colmesneil, TX.
Make your best to route to Colmesneil, north of Woodville.  North of
Colmesneil at the intersection of Hwy 69 and Road 255,
at the Hilltop Grocery, turn east and proceed 5 miles.
Jones Country has two entrances on the left. There will be signs.
Site opens Friday at 5:00 p.m. and is to be cleaned and evacuated by  12:00
noon Sunday.
Site has shaded grounds, camp spots water faucets, electric hookups,  and
shower houses with laundry facilities.

(Immediate family rate will not exceed $30.)
Optional ELEC for air conditioner or  R.V.     $5.
Optional ELEC hookup for cord to your tent   $3.

FEAST fee, planned for 100          $5 Adult
Children 12 and under                  $3
(Folding tables will be provided; please bring your own chairs for   feast.)
Make check payable to "SCA, Inc. Shire of Greywood"

Minors are to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or attend with a
21 year or older adult with a notarized "Minor Event Waiver Form" signed by
the parent.
Pets need proof of vaccinations and must be restrained at all times.  Horses
need written proof of negative Coggins.
