[Coastal] Last Minute Info on Seawinds Defender--This Weekend

Greetings friends,
   
  Seawinds Defender is almost here.  The weather promises to be great.... cool during the day and a little cold at night but no rain!  Come join us as we choose our Defenders for Chivalric, Rapier, Equestrian, A&S, Bardic and Archery.  And don't forget the heralds competition.
  Everyone is encouraged to bring period pavilions and banners.
   
  If you come for nothing else, come for the wonderful food.  Site fee includes an all day feast!  For the menu  and all other info about the event, please visit www.seawinds.org and check under upcoming events. 
   
  The following is the schedule of events.  All times are tentative based on number of combatants in each area.
   
  8:30  Armor inspection begins, Equestrians first please.  Armor inspection will continue '
             throughout the morning
  9:00   Breakfast
  9:30   Morning Court and Procession
  11:00  Mounted Crest Combat
            Archery begins,  A&S judging begins, set up is following morning court
            Bardic competitors will perform between events
  12:00   Chivalric, Youth Boffer will follow
  1:00    Rapier
  2:00   Mounted Archery
           Equestrian Demonstration
  3:00   Jousting
           Voting for Bards and Heralds to commence after Jousting
  5:00   Evening Court
   6:00   Feast
            Tavern and reveling after feast til........
