[Coastal] Feast and Food at Coastal Invasion THIS weekend

Greetings,
 
Coastal Invasion is now just days away and the weather though a bit on the chilly side will be perfect for the weekend.  The Shire of Seawinds and the Barony of Loch Soilleir do bid you join us.  Information about the event can be found at www.seawinds.org
 
For those traveling to the event here is what you can expect for food for the weekend.....  
 
Friday night will greet you with a hearty chili as well as coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea at our hospitality table to warm you after your travels. 
 
Breakfast on Saturday morning will include a choice of two breakfast cassaroles, bisquits, fruit, juice and of course coffee, hot chocolate and tea.  Breakfast will be at 8:00 am
 
Lunch will include a variety of soups prepared by some of the fine cooks of Seawinds.  They include: potatoe, chicken tortilla, beef barley, tomato basil, sausage and bean, and pumpkin soup. To round the meal out there will be breads, cheese, sausage, dessert and of course beverages.  Lunch will be served at 1:00 pm
 
Feast Menu:
 
Oat Bread
Rabbit Stew
Honey and Herbed Butters
 
Roasted Chicken with Tarragon
Barley and Mushrooms
Cabbage with Currents and Walnuts
 
Honey Roasted Pork Loin
Grilled Onions with Rosemary
Carrots
 
Oat Cakes
Stewed Apples
 
Feast will follow court and is limited to 50.  Reservations can still be made (through early Friday morning) by emailing Caitriona at prand at swbell.net with the names of all who wish to have feast.
 
BUT THAT IS NOT ALL.......  
 
Before you leave on Sunday morning.  Join us for pancakes and sausage so that you might be nourished for your journey home. Breakfast will be ready at 9 am.
 
All meals will be available in a nice warm hall!  We do ask for a small donation for those that partake of the breakfasts and lunch.  Your generosity will be appreciated but no one will be turned away!.
