Galen, Listadmin, here!

Somebody broke the rules.  Don't post virus warnings to the
list, because they're overwhelmingly bogus.  Including this
one.  No e-mail message can hurt your computer just by your
opening or reading it.  You'd have to run an executable file,
not just open an e-mail message.  "The Crew" is one of the most 
famous and oldest of the bogus virus warnings; it's years old.

If you can't resist spreading the word, you can get the list
of Elfsea list subscribers by sending a message "who elfsea"
to <majordomo at ansteorra.org>, but please don't send it to me.

Their are websites at which you can get the straight dope on
real viruses going around as well as the hoax warnings like
this one.
