I just wanted to say "Hello" and to let you know that I am newly subscribed
to this list.  Because of my schedule I have had trouble keeping up with all
that goes on in the local area and beyond so I hope this will help me to
stay in touch.

 I am relatively new to the area but have been to a couple of events and
hope to become more involved in local activities.
