Greetings, Elfsea,

Raimond asked:
"The point I guess I am trying to make is are we scheduling ourselves for
too much as a
Barony? " .......
"I be thru askin kestions now..."

Actually, that is an excellent question. We are a *very* large barony, both
in geography, and in numbers. This is a wonderful thing. We aren't as
likely to get burned out, unless you try to attend every meeting, every
fighter practice, and do a large amount of work at every event.

You must pace yourself, and base your choices based on your priorities in
life. We don't always make the right decisions, but do the best that you
can and have a good time. Also, sometimes stuff just happens, and we can't
keep our promises to work or be somewhere, even with the best of intentions.
The transmission on my van started acting up yesterday, and Llywelyn had to
meet me in Grapevine to drop it at the dealership - so we missed fighter
practice.

As far as the workshop, this has been in the works since January, when our
Noble Cousins were unable to teach at the Baronial College due to health
problems. They feel like the have an unmet obligation to us. (That's a
noble phrase for "feeling guilty"). Not everyone in our group will attend
the Fools' Revel, or won't be able to go for 15 hrs. It looks like Llywelyn
won't be able to attend as his parents are moving to Central Texas that
weekend from El Paso and they need help.

Stella, Llywelyn, (now Caelin) and I have all tried hard to keep from
getting our events too close together, and too over-scheduled. It is a
strong, steady pace that we have to try to keep when maintaining an energy
level in an organization.

Raimond, you keep on asking questions. Don't ever be afraid to here in
Elfsea. It is the openness and fairness of this group that makes it great.

God Bless you all,

Baroness Xene
