Greeting Elfsea,

I have several issues for those of you that didn't attend the
Populace meeting on Monday, and one for those that did.

1. When I cancel practice due to weather(or any reason) you can still
go to the park and fight, It just means I have decided it was too dangerous
to hold an official practice. So if you get hurt, I have no paperwork to
file on you. In the words of our great Baron "I am just canceling the
paperwork"

2. Ballistas- The Barony is going to be responsible for 5 Ballistas at
Gulf Wars 2001. I have estimated the cast of the ballistas to be approx.
$75.  If you wish to sponsor a ballista please e-mail me. I have all the
plans, tools and space to build them. If you sponsor a ballista you will be
responsible for the following:

a. Paying for the materials to build it.  Or build it yourself.  Again,
I have estimated the cast to be approx. $75. I would be more than happy to
set up an assembly line in my garage and build them all. 
b. Transporting the ballista to war. I will have extra room in my truck
and trailer for those of you that won't be able to have the extra space. 
c. Ammunition. I can show you how to make the ballista bolts. I
recommend at least 40 bolts per ballista.
d. Manning. 3 armored people per ballista.

Please e-mail me with the subject line being Ballista(so it
will drop in the proper folder) if you or your household wishes to sponsor a
ballista. Even if you                                have already told me
you would  like to do so, please e-mail.

3. Fighter practice will be moving to 5pm on Sunday starting July 9th.
It is getting hot out there so you might want to bring extra water.

4. I am ordering rattan from Ice Falcon Armory sometime this week. The
price is $20 per 9' of sword rattan, $8 per 9' of pole arm rattan. They told
me if the order is large enough he will take care of shipping for us, so
stock up now.

5. I still hold armor workshop on the last Thursday of the month at my
house.  We work on loaner and personal armor. So Come on out!!!  We usually
pitch in for pizza so be ready to eat and work.

   I think that is all I had, if I missed something I will let you
