ES - Battle of 3 Kings

Well after sifting through all this discussion over the upcoming Battle of
3Kings I feel it would be appropriate and quite fitting of my personna to
align myself as a Scotsman to the Constable of France.  If he would take
this lowly Scottish archer, I would be very pleased.
I have found lots of evidence of alliances between Scotland and France
during this time period.  Even prior to the 100 years War, it is evidenced
that William Wallace fought for the French on French soil against English
forces.  As far as I can tell, it is also stated that he didn't fight for
the French for mercenary ideals but because he liked to fight against the
English :)
Airaklee, please let me know if my alignment would meet with your approval.
Besides, this gives me opportunity to finally oppose Fearghus as an archer
in a melee.  The rest of that discussion will be between Fearghus and I ;)

This missive is meant to be in the greatest manner of fun. I would but point
out a few modest facts about the war.Thw war started in 1337. Crecy and
Poitiers were in 1346 and 1354 respectively.Other English victories occured
too for example Majera in 1356.Another fact is that the french recaptured
almost all of their lands by 1390.Yes the english did take some of the lands
back but we had a paranoid king on the throne.  Yes the great mistake of
Agincourt was in 1415 and was a smashing English victory. The result was
that France made a standing army which help to sweep the English off the
continent.So thank you for the lessons of Crecy,Poiters and Agincourt--we
have learned well from them. By the way what was going on in 1453--many
celebration because the English had lost the war.

OK, being English to bone, I have to say something......first off, 3
Kings is going to be a blast! I love any opportunity to display my
Englishness, but in truth, who wouldn't? Persona and role-play is a lot
of fun, so if I say something that offends, I'm simply being Eleanor,
who is English proud and boastful, and not very humble about it
either....

And so then, how much more 'cool in period' can one get than Crécy,
Poitiers, and that coolest of cool (and the French grind their teeth),
Agincourt.....kind of rolls off one's tongue very
nicely....Agincourt......oh, we should all be so lucky to be English!!
