A note from Galen (was: Re: ES - Jury Duty/Jury Story)

Robin has been called twice for jury duty while we've been here. The last time, she got selected, but after lunch, she and the jury were sitting outside as the defendant came up and went in the coutroom. A minute later, the baliff came out and said something like: "I don't know what you people did our how you looked, but you scared the s&^% out of him. He pleaded guilty." (It was a DWI charge.) Both times, she went dressed as a proper professional woman.

I finally got called last August, went dressed in business casual, took the exam, sat through the selection process (but I was 55 out of 60, which virtually eliminated me anyway) and didn't get chosen. Just goes to show ...

Now you've done it! Now the jury duty fairy is going to notice you for sure!
