That will let the warm air out. :)

A safer, temperature limited way is to boil the brick so it's not more
than about 200 degrees by the time it's dry and in the bed with you.
Consider marble or some other non- (or at least less) porous material to
keep from steaming up the bedding too much (it will be cold later!)
