[Elfsea] Chivalry

I think the simplest description of chivalry is just: a willingness to
help.

That is, to help those who lack your capabilities (as in defending those
weaker than yourself), or who may be carrying a burden which is, to
them, heavier than your current burden is is to you (as in helping
people carry stuff, set up tents, etc).  By implication, this also means
a willingness to sacrifice for the greater good, champion fairness, and
foster gentle behavior to one and all.

On the helping thing: some of this may be just no longer noticing quite
so much when you do get help, but definitely noticing when you don't -
while when you first joined, you were used to getting no help and were
pleasantly surprised every time you did get it.  I agree, though, that
some of it is just that folks don't seem to be thinking about that as
much now as they used to....
