[Elfsea] Archery Practice

Karrick -

First, my compliments on a most well- and courteously-phrased note.

Second, and to the point, I think most of us would strongly prefer a
site where we can concurrently hold archery practice with fighter
practice. There's no option for "I don't care about archery", so you
really can't draw from the responses that a majority exists who place no
importance on archery.

I'm excitedly looking forward to hearing the results of Ceatta's inquiry
into the possibility of permitting archery at Trinity Park. I am very
turned off of Bedford Park because of the report that archery is
unlikely to be permitted there. But these are my personal opinions, and
the barony as a whole will decide this matter when it gathers.

Please don't mistake those who might be willing to consider a park
despite a prohibition on archery for people who don't care at all about
archery. There are many factors to consider, and we will each weigh
these factors differently in our personal deliberations.

So, buck up! I have high hopes that we will yet settle on a park at
which we will have awesomely well-attended fighter practices in comfort,
safety, and convenience, where we will have chivalric & duello combat,
archery, a nearby playscape for the kids, available parking, good
mundane traffic to recruit from, but not _too_ crowded, and the company
of our friends from all over Elfsea. (Yes, I view being optimistic as
an important part of my job.) Let us all come together in courtesy in
support of this ideal.

Finally, more options for parks at which we can hold archery and
fighting together would be most welcome.
