Greetings, Master Fritz der Rothirsch and HE Catrin Brynmorgan, Baron &
Baroness of the Steppes do
invite you to attend this year's "STEPPES' FALL
COURT" Oct. 26-28, 2001 to be held at Camp
Burnett, 3301 North White Chapel Blvd, Southlake TX!.

Come cross "Bi-frost" the rainbow bridge and join
us for a Viking style revel to celebrate this year's
Steppes' Fall Court with "A DAY IN ASGARD".

Quest for the rune stones of Oden, Thor, & Freya
before the age of Ragnarok.  Join the ranks of the
Einheriar, chosen heros of the Valkyries to raid and
sack a village.  Feast late into the night in the hall
Valhalla to tales of heros, villains, dwarfs, giants,
& draugr.

ACTIVITES INCLUDE:

Friday night;
Beginner's bardic fire ring.

Saturday AM;
 Children's activities,
 Equestrian,
 Classes held for; Scandinavian garb, Arrow making,
  Gourd carving, Ale & mead brewing, & Wood carving.
 A quest for rune stones,
 Brock's boffer event (open to all ages),
 Contest in; Brewing, Scandinavian garb, Gourd carving,
  and Axe, knife, & spear.

Saturday PM;
 The "Village raid" (an armored game of offense/defence
  for sword, axe, shield, and combat archery),
 An Scandinavian open fire feast,
 Carved gourd judging,
 Baronial mini-court,
 Bardic darugr fire ring
 (Scandinavian ghost stories encouraged).

Sunday AM;
 Target archery


Site will open at noon Friday, and close 3 PM Sunday.

The site is located at 3301 North White Chapel
Blvd, Southlake TX.  From Dallas; Travel west on
Hwy 114 to Southlake. Turn north on White Chapel
Road (4th signal light after leaving freeway).  Go
approximately 1.6 miles to blue gate for Camp Burnett.

Site fee is $5, $15 for family.   Feast is $4 person.

Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal
guardian.  They may also attend with a 21-year
or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor
Event Waiver Form from the parents.

Site is wet with period containers only.

Merchants are highly welcome!

Pets are allowed on leash with current written proof
of rabies vaccination.
