Lord Wilhelm Von Oldenburg
Premier Azure Keystone of Elfsea said:

"I realize that we all have life commitments, and cannot provide support all
the time to the SCA. ..... I consider it only honorable
that when a promise is made, that it be kept at all costs."

Well said, Lord Wilhelm, well said. Llywelyn and I did *not* volunteer for
this demo due to a previous commitment to our church.

Speaking of Commitments and Honor:

I was rather amazed by my husband this weekend and would humbly like to
share the word fame about what all he did.

Llywelyn served the dinner Friday night at our church's Valentine dance and
fund raiser for Bryan's House (for AIDS families and children). He had
volunteered to stay afterwards to clean up and returned home at midnight. At
8:00 AM Saturday morning, he arrived back at the church to autocrat the
Baronial College. Llywelyn then went back to the church Sunday morning to
teach Sunday School, and missed the early part of Passage at Arms because he
cleaned the bathrooms and mopped the kitchen (and part of the gym floor). He
believed that to be part of his commitment to help clean up after both the
church fund raiser and the baronial event. After doing all that on Sunday,
Llywelyn drove out to Passage at Arms to make sure that our seneschal got
the event funds so they could be deposited within the alloted time frame.

Between all that, he gave me flowers, candy and a card for Valentine's day,
cooked for me, and took care of me. I have an honorable, loving husband.
There aren't enough words in my vocabulary to express my admiration, respect
and love for this man.
