[Elfsea] Threebridges, One More Try

Sorry for the second missive the first didn't work right. The scribe
responsible is on scullery duty for the next week.

Greetings to you Willow de Wisp and Philip White,
I know each of you well, and know both of you wish to make Elfsea and
her lands prosperous and happy. We should all take great care to be kind to
each other. You both, as well as many people in the past, have had to jump
through hoops to make UTA happy. This is not an easy job. We need not be
short with each other, because the paper work is hard and UTA advisors do
not always return messages in a timely manner. Philip is working hard in
many different jobs right now. I know he meant no disrespect to Duchess
Willow. At her wits end, Willow de Wisp is trying something new and is
unsure at how to navigate the murky waters of UTA's internal government, *no
small task*. This could put us all at our wits end. Thank you both for
working so hard in Elfsea and the college.

Duchess Willow,
At this point, Armand and I, as well as Rixande, Elfsea's seneschal, are
the people to help you. Please call us or get a message to us and we will
work with you. At the current time, until a faculty adviser can be found,
the campus at UTA has many open areas and atriums to meet at, these are open
to all people. They are not rooms but it is a place to start. Since many on
campus might not have a car or may be new to town and could get lost driving
to some place in Arlington, a common open area on campus might be a better
way to go until you can get an advisor and a reserved room.

(Note: Ameline tried to keep this message brief, but now Armand has taken
over!!! :-(

The relevant guidelines for Institutional branches can be found in Article
VIII, Section 5, C. (page 51) of Kingdom Law which is online at:
http://www.ansteorra.org/regnum/seneschal/forms/2003ansteorralaw.pdf

Your initial concerns will be in securing 5 subscribing members, and being
sure that prospective officers have taken the appropriate classes. The
Seneschal and Exchequer must be warranted and at least one other officer
from among Knight Marshal, Herald or Minister of Arts & Sciences. Each of
these will need to report monthly to their baronial counterparts and ideally
keep us (Baron & Baroness) informed as well.

A call for bids for these positions should be publicized and bids should be
sent to the baronial & regional officer counterparts. This will increase the
chances of harmony and support for those whose bids are approved and
minimizes calls of favoritism and/or personality conflicts. Please contact
Armand if you need more information.

   Ameline
Lady Elfsea

With legal scrutiny by Armand. ;-)
