Gothic was an amazing event. His Excellency could not have chosen a
better event to start back up our traditions of baronial encampments.
Our encampment included 17 people. We were able to field to the
various fighting units (both heavy and light) 9 individuals and 1
marshal.

The camping area reserved for us was amazing. In addition to our
portable Elf Sea., we had plenty of electricity/water hookups, and
within a very short walking distance we had: melee field, tourney
field, bathrooms, merchant row, and the main pavilion. Elfsea is
extremely lucky in its friendships out West.

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the weekend with us -
especially our newcomers who just appeared out of nowhere ready for
their first event! It is with newcomers like these that we know life
is good in Elfsea!

A very special "thank you" goes to Elizabeth and Caius – They took
amazing care of throughout the entire event. The food was wonderful.
The company excellent. And the first aid kit came in handy as well.
Thank you so so much.

Now that Gothic is over and done with we can get to look ahead to
Three Kings - November 12-14, 2004. This will be the next Baronial
Road Trip. In the coming weeks will have more information about the
event. If you would like to try your hand at running the camp kitchen
please let me know. Please join us if you can. If you have any
questions please let me know!
