I too have seen several of these changes made within our society. Some have been very smooth and healthy. Some have not.
A people's love for their Barony, their Kingdom, and the Society does not change with the elevation of a new ruling Noble. Nor does it make a Barony work better or worse because my friend did not get the job, and your friend did.
Fortunately, we have many people who are so qualified for this position that I, after reading the preliminary applications here tonight, will find it difficult to decide.
For all the candidates are my friends. And all have wonderful qualifications.
So no matter who steps up to the High Seat in Elfsea, my friends will have been granted the permission to rule, by their friends, the people of Elfsea.

Though my time is a bit limited, I will make every effort to attend the polling.

And save me a seat at Baronial College. I must work, so I may be a bit late.
