Greetings!
It was a great Kingdom A&S this year. North Keep
decorated the hall wonderful, fed the populous great
food, and hosted a grand event.
There were 39 entries from across the Kingdom and
arts - from wood carving, metal work, cooking, to the
many fiber arts. There were great performances by
musicians, poets, and dancers – both European and
Middle Eastern. The judging rooms were left open for
all to see the fabulous displays thought the day.
Outside of the completion rooms, people gathered to
visit and have fun. The Steppes “By-you” tapestry had
a number of people working on it. Others worked on
charter painting or their own projects.

The newest Kingdom Artisan is a stranger to no one.
For Master Modius von Mergentheim
, the maker of a wine the judge compared to a $200
dollar of wine, VIVAT!!

Two new additions will be joining the Laurel circle
shortly.
For HL Rhiannon NiBryan McLaughlan, performer of
amazing Middle Eastern dances, Vivat!
For Count Gunthar Jonsson, cook extraordinaire, Vivat!

And as always, Elfsea artisans represented themselves
with skill and style.
Elfsea provide two judges: Mistress Stella & Mistress
Ameline.
 And five entries:
Ameline du Bois - Viking felt hats – Gulf Wars
Champion
Aelfwyn Webbestre – Viking woven cap – Gulf Wars
Alternate
Hanna von Dahl – Italian Embroidery patterns – Gulf
Wars Alternate

admiration and interest

For the Elfsea artisans, Vivat!
