[Elfsea] Update to Baronial Transition Information

*Greeting unto the populace of Elfsea and Dragonsfire Tor,*

*Last night’s populace meeting generated a question about whether there
would be scheduled candidate-populace meetings, and if not, how should
candidates approach interactions with the populace (and vice versa).
Another question related to whether candidates would be allowed to
advertise their availability to meet with the populace for informal Q&A
sessions at fighter practices and/or other gatherings. *

*After conferring with Their Majesties, we do have resolution the matter:*

·         *Preset Q&A was not scheduled into the timeline because the Crown
feels it would not be in the best interest of the Barony and Canton and
could devolve into negative feelings.   The most important outcome for
Their Majesties is to ensure a smooth transition without any negative
feeling within the Barony.  *

·         *Their Majesties encourage each of the populace to have a
one-on-one conversation with the candidates.  *

o   *Face-to-face conversations will build a lasting relationship and is
perhaps less stressful for all parties.  *

o   *This approach will also help the Candidates be more relaxed with the
populace and continue the growth and forward progress that we are seeing in
the Barony.*

·         *Candidates are strongly encouraged to attend as many functions
as possible, between now and the polling so that the populace can talk with
them and discuss their feelings and concerns.  However;*

o   *Candidates are not allowed to announce that they will be available at
a certain event and/or time for questions.  This would be similar to
political campaigning—and the intent of Their Majesties is to keep the
transitions as smooth and stress-free as possible.*
