This is a rather belated answer to a lot of questions about casting.
I finaly got my machine back and looked up a funny that I wrote a few years
back. It gives the basiscs of small casting. You can take it as far as you
want to,but the principle is all there. Since I am rather dumd about
computers.I'll just have a hard copy that you can xerox and pass around
or,some happy sole can put it on the Cantons home page.
Hope it gives you some idea of what it takes for the lost wax casting
project. Pewter is a lot less expensive and can be as detailed as you have
skill to make a master carving.
