Unto the Populace of the Barony of the Steppes and its Cantons:

In the wake of the joyous occasion of Sir Miguel's besting all
challengers on the field of battle, and his anticipated ascension to the
throne of Ansteorra, the Barony is accepting bids for the office of
Knight Marshal.  As his lovely wife, Honorable Lady Conal will be joining
him on the throne, the Barony is also accepting bids for the office of
Rapier Marshal.

The Barony wishes to thank His Highness for the great efforts he made
(and difficulties suffered) for the life of the Barony and the needs of
the fighters in our community.

Should you wish to serve your Barony and Crown in this capacity, please
submit a "letter of intent", using the Application that can be found
on-line at ansteorra.org., or contact the Seneschal for a copy of the
form.  Please mail your application, with a copy of your current
membership card and Drivers License to the Central Regional Knight or
Rapier Marshal (with courtesy copies to their Excellencies and the
Steppes Seneschal).

If any of you know someone you think would ably fill one of these
offices, please encourage them to send in an Application.  Or contact the
Baron & Baroness or Seneschal with your candidates name so that they may
speak with them regarding the matter.
